The SMARC (“Smart Mobility ARChitecture”) is a versatile small form factor computer module definition targeting applications that require low power, low costs, and high performance. The PSMC-M1014 size is 82mmx50mm, powered by Intel Elkhart Lake platform, a new generation of its predecessor, Apollo Lake. PSMC-M1014 has many advantages such as better computing and graphics engine, 4K display (4096 x 2160 @ 60Hz) but no power consumption increase, TDP from 6W to 12W. The PSMC-M1014 has on-board LPDDR4, capacity from 2GB to 8GB, to support data transfer speeds of up to 3200MT/s, which is nearly 30% faster than previous generation.
